Specialized Recon 1.0 MTB is a superb shoe in an accessible package. The shoe is created with Body Geometry comfort and efficiency in a durable XC/gravel focus. Specialized used STRIDE toe-flex technology, and the nylon outsole with an injected TPU forefoot for natural movement off-bike, while still providing stiffness index 6 for in-the-saddle-performance. The nylon outsole is covert with Specialized's SlipNot compound, with lifted heel for more natural feeling while walking. Three Velcro closures make slipping into the Recon 1.0 easy and create a fit designed for all-day comfort and performance.

Specialized Recon 1.0 is definitely the shoe which is efficient on pedals and confident off the bike.
