Marker Baron EPF 13 with a DIN setting up 13 has earned its stripes as a favorite amongst big mountain, backcountry enthusiasts who look for a binding including walking option and climbing aid. The Baron with Extended Power Frame (EPF) that brings an extra-wide connection to the ski, now comes with new Triple Pivot toe and Interpivot 3 freeride heel for improved power transmission and edge grip. With its extra-wide connection to the ski, gives it the structure needed to power today's wider skis through any snow conditions. The new Anti Ice Rail is pretty handy to scrape off snow and ice from the boot sole. In addition the Baron 13 EPF also comes with easy-to-handle climbing aid and Sole.ID to fit all alpine an touring boots.

• Tripe Pivot Elite 3 Toe system - The toe construction with DIN/ISO up to Z 18 allows for impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5° it provides the higher energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. In relation to their weight, toes with this technology therefore achieve a never-seen-before performance.
• Inter-Pivot 3 heel - The third and newest generation completely redone: improved power transimission, energy absorption and vertical heel elasticity combined with an improved step in comfort.
• Stainless steel height adjustable AFD Gliding Plate - a moveable AFD (anti friction device) leading to a highly precise release almost entirely unhindered by dirt, snow and ice! Individual adjustment of the AFD to the area of application ensures perfect functionality - from racing, for children’s bindings or on ski tours
• Anti Ice Rail - metal rail on toe part is pretty handy to scrape off snow and ice from the boot sole
• SOLE.ID technology - One binding, two boot norms. Compatible with alpine boots or boots with touring sole
