The MET Trenta MIPS is a performance road helmet for elite cyclists. Looks and performs best when riding in the bunch, engineered to keep your head fresh and save you energy with every pedal stroke. It is built to offer maximum ventilation and aerodynamic performance. The drag-reduction offered by Trenta ensures you can cut through the wind with efficiency and speed, arriving at the finish feeling fresher than your rivals. Featuring the MIPS-C2® brain protection system, the MET Trenta Mips is able to slide relative to the head in the case of a crash, redirecting damaging rotational motion. The MIPS Brain Protection System (BPS) is attached inside the helmet, between the comfort padding and the EPS.
Features:
- MIPS brain protection system adds 10% extra safety to the standard construction of helmets in case of certain impacts
- NACA vent - the position of this inlet at the front of the helmet has a cooling effect. Harnessing the power of the Venturi effect, the vent pushes out the warm air within the helmet through specially positioned exhausts.
- Very lightweight and highly breathable helmet
- In-Mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner
- Rear deflectors - The MET Trenta features a flat rear deflector inclined at 25°, which makes it possible to include two wide exhausts that optimise airflow when you’re on the drops and riding hard
- Air lite straps, which are 15% lighter than a standard helmet strap, they are also more aerodynamic than a standard strap
- Only 30% of the helmet touches the head, which increases comfort further reduces the temperature building-up
- Safe-T Orbital fit - all-round belt offers 360 adjustments, 3 positions vertical and 2 positions occipital adjustment, best weight and comfort ratio, ponytail compatible
- Tube shaped tail - the tail of the helmet also has an aerodynamic purpose. It works in synergy with the NACA front vent and the rear deflector to effectively drive airflow.
