Fulcrum Wind 42 is a high-performance, comfortable road bike wheelset with 42 mm deep and 23 mm wide rims made of FF80 carbon. It is versatile and also suitable for light off-road excursions. Compared to the previous model, several grams of weight have been saved and the handling and ride feel improved. The rim base has no holes, which is why no rim tape is required for mounting tyres, whether tubeless or with an inner tube. The hubs, which are compatible with center-lock brake rotors, have cartridge bearings, are sealed and are characterised by their high strength. The freehub has been updated and made even more efficient. The Wind 42 wheels are fitted with 24 double-butted spokes at the front and rear and have a torsion-resistant lacing pattern. From the range-topping Speed family, in terms of performance, the Wind 42 inherit many of Fulcrum’s proprietary technologies, to offer a superior ride feel compared to the previous generation. Handling has been improved by 22% and reactivity by +10% on these versatile and comfortable wheels, making them perfect for modern cyclists. Amongst the most evident changes there are the rims whose height has been raised to 42 mm, with an inner rim channel of 23 mm. The graphics have been completely redesigned too and reflect the new Form Function Fulcrum brand identity, with a minimal and at the same time refined design, which includes new icons that provide all the product’s technical information.

Namestil sem jih na specialko, kolo je takoj veliko lažje. Probal sem jih eno vožnjo in je vse super. Edino treba se je navadit na bočni veter. Saj so veliko bolj občutljivi kot original tovarniški obroči
