The all-new SHIMANO DEORE XT M8100 series of derailleurs brings a new level of drivetrain silence thank to decreased tension in the low gear position and an added bumper on the pulley cage. Larger 13T pulleys increase efficiency and chain management while compatibility with SHIMANO's new 12-speed cassettes boosts. Fast and precise shifting performance optimized to take on any trail with wide range 12-speed drivetrain with low sprocket combination -10-51T. Silent drivetrain in all gear positions. Following the principle of passing on the experiences and technologies of the top series, the Deore XT incorporates the innovations of the high-end XTR components. Accordingly the new 12-speed groupset features of course Micro Spline and Hyperglide+.
The Deore XT RD-M8100-SGS rear derailleur provides fast and precise shifting operations over a wide gear range. Guide and tension pulleys with 13 teeth and sealed bearings as well as a rubber damper reduce noise and increase ride comfort. They also improve the chain's grip under all conditions.
The Shimano RD-M8100 rear derailleur for the Deore XT 1x12-speed drivetrain is suitable for the use with both the large 10-51 teeth and the smaller 10-45 teeth Shimano CS-M8100 cassette.
