Made for all the adventurer touring skier, this 102 mm ski is dedicated to the spirit of adventure. A balance between lift and ski-ability, alpine conduct and progressive front rocker. A perfect ski that performs very well was concentrated on the extensions of the sidelines to gain stability and hold at high speed, with added titanal plate underfoot in order to double the wrenching force and also reinforce the solidity of the mounting of the binding insert. 

The Navis Freebird is made by paulownia and poplar wood core, covered in three and two-directional carbon and glass fiber. Black Crows have also reduced the turning radius to 19m which is better suited to ski touring. Otherwise, the Navis Freebird has much the same qualities as the regular Navis: it’s square and mildly rockered tail adds play in soft snow while retaining its classic alpine behavior on harder snow. A progressive front rocker with a flared tip makes it easier to get into turns quickly in tight spots and initiate with ease in the soft stuff. And long classic camber underfoot with extensive ski/snow contact for alpine-style turns.

It's good on the climb but really comes into its own on the descent. Steeps, hard or wind-blown snow, powder or spring snow, it will take you anywhere. This is the ski for you if you're an expedition-type skier but it's also perfectly suited to small day tours.
