The POC Shins Classic was redesigned for this season. The hard outer shell on the guard is now constructed from tough polyethylene (PE) to give strength and resilience without any brittleness in even the very coldest conditions for ski racing. The guard protects your shins and boots from impacts with the gates.  The guard features a comfortable EVA lining on the inside to give comfort and security and robust velcro straps with cutting marks to adjust their length. The fastening straps can be completely removed, which makes it much easier to properly clean the guards.
