Mohopedija is a book about Matej Mohorič, one of the most successful Slovenian bike road racing cyclists. This is a must-have biography for all cycle enthusiasts and fans.
The greatness of Matej Mohorič, a member of the Bahrain-Victorious team, is based on many outstanding successes. In 2012, he won the world junior champion title in road racing, and in 2013 he became the world champion under 23. In 2014, he received the highest sports award in Slovenija – the Bloudek Prize for a "significant international sporting achievement". Five years ago, he won the seventh stage (Lliria - Cuenca, 207 km) of the Tour of Spain, his first major success in the classic three-week races. In 2018 he won the tenth stage of the Tour of Italy, he also won two races that year, namely the Tour of Benelux and the Tour of Germany. Last year he became the national champion in the road race and with the victories in the 7th and 19th stages of the famous Tour de France as the second Slovenian cyclist he achieved stage victories in all three three-week races. His biggest success this year is winning the classic cycling race, Milan-San Remo.
In the peloton of top cyclists, Mohorič is considered a very well-educated and broad-view competitor, he is known for his headlong descents, and he often provides a good mood in the team, as he has a very strong sense of humour.
