Introducing the brand-new Scott eRide Voltage 920. Designed for mountain biking enthusiasts craving an agile, fast, lightweight, and especially powerful electric full-suspension bike. The TQ HPR50 drive unit with 50Nm of torque and a maximum capacity of 520 Wh (360 + 160). The integrated battery in the downtube of the bike has a capacity of 360 Wh. A 160 Wh TQ Range extender (not included) can easily be mounted on one of the bottle holders. Fox Nude 6T suspension, with the TwinLoc system, allows for quick adjustments depending on the terrain.
The Voltage eRide features 155mm of rear travel combined with 160mm of front travel. With 29'' wheels, it represents an aggressive and extremely stable modern electric bike. A longer "reach," low center of gravity, and more aggressive fork angle provide excellent feedback and more confidence needed for fast and precise reactions even on the most demanding descents. Thanks to electric assistance, you can manage 2, 3, or even more rides instead of just one.
With a hidden, compact, and quiet TQ system, it allows you to ride trail after trail... Descent after descent! The TQ system can be controlled via the handlebar control unit, and a minimalist display on the top tube of the frame displays all necessary information. Simple, minimalist, and always within reach. Connectivity with the TQ E-bike app is straightforward. You can also play with the engine's responsiveness and customize the display information.
Frame stiffness, low center of gravity, and sophisticated suspension operation are key features of the integrated suspension technology (IST). Hidden from impacts, water, dirt, and other external influences, the rear shock ensures consistent and optimal performance while allowing for longer service intervals. IST suspension provides excellent handling, more stable and confident riding downhill.
Scott engineers always aim for an optimal balance between frame stiffness and bike weight. Frame reinforcements in the area of the bottom bracket, where the load forces are greatest. Centralization and optimization of suspension kinematics in this area create a reinforced structure that coincides with loads both during pedaling and at greater suspension loads or bike stresses. Scott has managed to distribute these loads evenly across all parts of the frame, resulting in just the right amount of stiffness without the need for additional reinforcements where they are not necessary.
The 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain provides precise and smooth shifting, whether you're going uphill or downhill. 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes by SRAM DB8 offer reliable and strong braking in all conditions. A 55mm chainline allows you to switch to wider tires without sacrificing rear end stiffness. With 29-inch wheels, the Voltage eRide represents an aggressive and extremely stable modern electric mountain bike.
Why 29" wheels?
- 29" wheels for better control - due to a larger contact surface with the ground, they provide better grip and consequently better control during riding
- 29" wheels for higher speed - simple physics: the larger the diameter, the higher the speed
- 29" wheels for a smoother ride - larger wheels more easily overcome smaller and larger obstacles that cross our path
