The Völkl Racetiger RC is great choice for those skiers who like it fast and prefer wider radii on groomed slopes. It is created for the skiers who love to race, but the competition isn't really their thing.
The Racetger RC that features a titanal band and a tailored, slightly wider carbon shovel in comparison to last year’s model, impresses with its smoothness and balance as well as its turning ability. The RC ("race carver") is surprisingly easy to ski for experienced skiers, is the all-rounder among the race skis. It follows you to the limit in split seconds, but anytime you want to take it a little more gentle, for example at the end of the day, this ski is amazingly easy to turn at lower speeds too. Remarkable in terms of riding characteristics are the Tailored Carbon Tips which noticeably reduce the amount of force required, especially when entering the turn. The integrated carbon strips bring the direct power transfer exactly to where it is needed. The titanal band provides the necessary smoothness and ensures agility as well as balanced drifting qualities. In short, the new Racetiger has become sportier. The narrower center width compared to the previous year's model allows faster edge changes and a generally more dynamic skiing approach. Völkl also included a lightweight vMotion 10 GW binding system, which will provide good power transfer while ripping down the slope.

- Multilayer woodcore with different densities of wood in a sandwich construction - The hardwood part immediately adjacent to the sidewall effects a higher power transmission, improves the edge grip and supports the edge against external forces. The low weight of the softwood part in the middle of the ski brings more agility and maneuverability and reduces overall ski weight. The combination of both wood types running through the entire ski length contributes to an optimal distribution of the ski stiffness increasing the 'pop' and steering precision.
- 3D.GLASS - the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns - to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions.
- Full Sidewall/Mini Cap - Full sidewall construction for a direct and strong power transmission with mini cap overlapping it to provide best durability.
- Titanal Band - Sportive material layup for high dampening and reliability on skis to also keep relatively light weight.
- Tailored Carbon Tips - Innovative shovel design with sewn-in fibers. The tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The individual carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material for a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.
