The Völkl Racetiger SC is your ski of choice, if you prefer sharp turns, always at your pace, preferably on the edge. When you look back, your line shows tight to medium radii. You simply have the most fun on groomed slopes because this is the place to go wild. Wild and fast. 

The Racetiger SC with Titanal strip and tailored, this year slightly wider carbon shovel impresses with its extreme turning ability, yet it can still be skied extremely smooth and balanced. Of course, the Racetiger SC requires a certain level of experience, but it is a slalom ski with a wide range of use and surprisingly effortless to ride for sporty skiers. It provides lots of control at the limit, but you can just as easily slow down whenever you feel like going a little smoother. Pleasure skiing at its best! The Tailored Carbon Tips reduce the amount of force required, especially when entering the turn. The integrated carbon strips bring the direct power transfer exactly to where it is needed. The titanal band provides the necessary smoothness and ensures agility as well as balanced drift qualities. Furhtermore, the titanal band provides the necessary smoothness. In short, the new Racetiger has become sportier. The new shape is more balanced, but the narrower center width compared to last year's model allows for faster edge changes and a generally more dynamic riding style.

  • Multilayer woodcore with different densities of wood in a sandwich construction - The hardwood part immediately adjacent to the sidewall effects a higher power transmission, improves the edge grip and supports the edge against external forces. The low weight of the softwood part in the middle of the ski brings more agility and maneuverability and reduces overall ski weight. The combination of both wood types running through the entire ski length contributes to an optimal distribution of the ski stiffness increasing the 'pop' and steering precision.
  • 3D.GLASS - the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns - to furthermore improve overall ski performance and stability even in critical snow conditions. 
  • Full Sidewall/Mini Cap - Full sidewall construction for a direct and strong power transmission with mini cap overlapping it to provide best durability.
  • Titanal Band - Sportive material layup for high dampening and reliability on skis to also keep relatively light weight.
  • Tailored Carbon Tips - Innovative shovel design with sewn-in fibers. The tips are light, allow an agile shovel reaction with less effort and quickly build up energy. The individual carbon fibers are embroidered onto a carrier material for a new level of precision, direct tip response and active skiing pleasure.
  • Tip Rocker with it's variable edge length in the shovel area makes the ski easier to turn
  • P-Tex 2100 base - A sintered high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability
