IPS- Interference Protection System unique technology compensates for the influence of electronic and metallic interference to the transmitting device by analyzing and adapting to the interfering source. Thus, the PIEPS PRO IPS delivers the maximum transmit power. Therefore, in case of emergency, users of the PIEPS PRO IPS are better protected against interferences from personal items which could minimize the transmitting power. Electronic products can cause a variety of interference. With the IPS system, we are able to compensate for a large part, but due to their diversity, we cannot exclude all interferences. Thus, we still recommend a minimum distance of 20 cm in transmit mode and 50 cm in search mode to possible sources of interference.

DASP -Dual Antenna Signal Processing already leading signal tracking quality of PIEPS has been increased even further with the PIEPS PRO IPS. Thanks to DUAL ANTENNA SIGNALPROCESSING, simultaneous signal processing of the X and Y antenna. This ensures an even more precise localization of the transmitted signal, effective elimination of ghost signals and a very high range. Probe Pieps Alu 260 Sport:

An avalanche probe Pieps Probe Alu 260 Sport can be assembled easy and fast. It is equipped with a Pieps safety marker at 40 cm and at 100 cm, with which the depth of the buried casualty can be determined more precisely. The probe is also equipped with a measuring scale along its entire length, which can be used to determine the thickness of the snow blanket. The quick-lock system provides a reliable lock of the probe when assembled. The Speed-Cone system allows you to assemble the probe in a matter of seconds with a single pull of the cord. The probe is assembled using a system of telescopic rods, which makes it take up relatively little space when disassembled. The elastic buckle will come in handy when you are carrying it in your backpack, as it makes sure it stays firmly closed and in place.
