Who is eligible?

• Adults with permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Slovenia.
• The subsidy is not intended for sole proprietors.
• Each eligible person can submit only one application for one new e-bike.
  
  
  

Technical requirements for the subsidy

Electric bike (city or folding e-bike)

• EPAC standard: BS EN 15194:2017 or BS EN 15194:2017 +A1:2023.
• The bike must be equipped with mudguards and lights and be intended for daily mobility.

Electric cargo bike

• EPAC standard: BS EN 15194:2017 or BS EN 15194:2017 +A1:2023.
• DIN 79010:2020-02 quality standard or a frame load capacity of more than 120 kg.
  
  
  

Amount of the subsidy

• Electric bike: 25% of the retail price including VAT, but no more than €500.00. The bike price must not exceed €2,500.00.
• Electric cargo bike: 30% of the retail price including VAT, but no more than €1,000.00.

Deadline and application method

• Applications can be submitted from June 3, 2024, from 8:00 AM until the public call expires.
• Eligibility period: from May 31, 2024, until the end of the public call validity.
