The Castelli Free Aero Race, which is a result of more than ten years of feedback from pro racers, combines mile-munching comfort with race-winning speed thanks to the superb fabric on legs which trips the boundary layer of air resulting in a smaller wake and hence less drag and great aero performance. This generation of the bib short also features the updated Progetto X2 Air Seamless seat pad. This pad separates a soft, stretchy skin care layer that moves with your body from a generously padded cushioning layer that replicates the form of your saddle. Thanks to this seat pad there is no discomfort no matter how many hours you spend in the saddle. In addition to the super comfy seat pad, the Free Aero Race 4 Kit is constructed using flat-lock seams and Castelli’s signature seamless flat Giro4 leg grippers with a lie-flat raw-cut edge and vertical silicone stripes to keep it in place without restricting stretch.
