Product description
Specialized Enduro Expert! Here it is. It has always packed a serious punch and it's never been so true. You get 170-millimeters of the most capable downhill performance that gains elevation with surprising ease. Full RockShox suspension, powerful disc brakes, and a robust alloy wheelset round it out.
Enduro is an incredibly capable gravity-oriented machine. It is built on a Full FACT 11m carbon frame, it has 29" tires, low weight, and stiff construction. It comes in style-specific 4 different sizes: S2, S3, S4, S5. With a more-rearward axle path, your rear wheel when hitting a rock, spends more of its arc moving back and up and out of the way of the rock, rather than slamming up and into the impact. The new linkage and low- & forward-positioned shock make the bike more planted and confident-feeling at high speeds. And balanced chassis stiffness helps the front-end steer precisely and keeps the rear-end tracking like it’s on rails. Add it all up and you have a bike that laughs in the face of the steepest, rockiest trails. The result of the bike is more predictable handling on technical trails.
Changes that were made in the Enduro's linkage improved small-bump sensitivity. You will get a smoother and more controlled suspension from start to finish. It is extremely good at pedaling, even though that has so much travel. The new design increased anti-squat, which means minimizing pedaling force on the suspension. And as we know, low is fast. A lower center of gravity makes you more stable at high speed. The new linkage and lower mounted shock make the bike more planted and confident and give a bike incredible confidence on the trails. A new developed custom shock RX tune gives you a perfectly balanced suspension. More control on suspension, more control on the bike and on the trail. The magic on this bike is balance, not stiffness. It has just the right balance of stiffness front to rear. Every enduro gives the same features, no matter the size of the bike. It gives you a more centered and balanced feel and control on descents and speed.
For the build, this Enduro Expert is packed only with the best components. The RockShox Zeb Select Plus fork with 170mm travel and Rock Shox Super Deluxe Coil Select Plus shock can handle any trail. It features a SRAM GX Eagle AXS 12-speed electronic drivetrain and SRAM Code RS hydraulic disc brakes. OneUp dropper post will increase your manoeuvrability and control on steep descents and make the climbs easier with a long travel.
So, what about the style-specific sizing?
With the new Enduro, seat tubes and stack heights don't grow massively between sizes. The Enduro has a long reach that’s matched with a short seat tube and stack height. Those traits allow many riders to comfortably fit more than just one size of Enduro. Now you can choose your ideal frame size based on both: your height and preferred riding style. Do you prefer playfull riding of a shorter wheelbase? Then a smaller frame size is your choice. But, if your ego wants high-speed stability of a longer wheelbase, pick bigger frame size.
Why 29” wheels?
- 29" bikes for better control - thanks to a larger contact area with the ground, they offer you improved traction and better control while riding
- 29" bikes for higher speed - simple physics: larger diameter, higher speed
- 29" bikes for a smoother ride - larger wheels make it easier to overcome smaller and larger obstacles on the trail
- 29" bikes for taller bikers – simply because they are larger
