Maloja Kaltern is a hybrid midlayer with good thermal performance for demanding use in ski touring, cross-country skiing, trail running and outdoor. This newly developed midlayer combines high thermal performance in the upper area with good breathability through the Skin Stretch material in the lower area. Skin Stretch is a highly elastic, soft and densely knitted material. The slightly grooved structure allows fast moisture transport while also providing good heat retention. The high content of spandex guarantees an excellent and comfortable fit. Skin Stretch is therefore ideal for sporty cross-country skiing and hiking in cooler temperatures. 4 way stretch fabric offers cross and lengthwise stretchability and thus provides perfect freedom of movement. Enrosadira patch on the chest and ergonomicly formed, tight stormhood for stormy days.
