The revolutionary trail running shoe Salomon S/LAB Ultra Glide 1.5 combines comfort and performance, especially on long runs – from 10 km races to 100-mile ultra trails. The shoe delivers premium comfort and confidence thanks to the dual-foam midsole construction. The core of the midsole energyFOAM+ is made from a blend of PEBA and EVA foam, creating a springy feel and ensuring energy return for a more dynamic ride while reducing fatigue. The second part of the midsole energyFOAM is made of EVA foam, providing outstanding cushioning and extra stability. The foam also extends to the sides of the shoe to create a secure cradle-like fit. The result of using these materials in the midsole is exceptional comfort and energy return with every step – even on the steepest and most demanding descents. For excellent grip on all kinds of surfaces, the shoe is equipped with an All Terrain Contagrip® outsole with 4 mm lugs that ensure reliable traction on wet, dry, hard, or soft ground. The signature wavy geometry of the outsole relieveSPHERE helps reduce pressure from repetitive impacts, resulting in less pain, less fatigue, and a smoother ride on long distances. The upper is comfortable, breathable, durable, and quick-drying, while the quickLACE™ lacing system makes tightening easy and the lace pocket provides convenient storage.
