The touring skis Völkl Rise 84 are your perfect choice when your main focus is ascent, but you still want a ski with very good downhill characteristics and low weight, that enables you looong tours high in the mountains. The 84mm width makes the skis fun, agile and responsive. Völkl has integrated the 3D Radius Sidecut construction that combines three different radii that flow into each other over the entire length of the ski. This significantly enhances liveliniess and maneouverability of the skis. The Tourlite Hybrid woodcore allows the ski to be produced with amazingly low weight, but still provide reliable downhill performance. In addition, the Völkl Rise 84 is of course also equipped with the new Smart Skinclip system, allowing the use of Tech Fibre or Smart Glue skins. The skis feature the ICE.OFF topsheet, which is designed to keep snow and ice from adhering to the topsheet to keep the lightest possible setup. Tip Rocker profile provides lift and makes it easier to initiate turns in deep snow, or better said, in all conditions.

Features:

• Tourlite hybrid woodcore with two different densities of wood. In the binding attachment area, a dense, ash core is used, while in the rest of the ski, the core is poplar. The more dense wood creates secure screw retention and stability, while the softer poplar section allows for resilience and snap.

• Tip and Tail Rocker with a variable edge set between the shovel and tail makes the ski turn-happy 
• ICE.OFF Topsheet technology to reduce the weight of the ski when skiing and hiking. Will reduce the snow attachment to the ski at an average of 20% to 30%.
• Smart Skinclip system - an elastic snap hook that enables a ski tourer to decide for himself, depending on the situation, in which direction he should pull the skin on and off. A standard snap hook at the tail end of the ski allows the skin to be attached and detached from behind.

Bindings: Marker Alpinist 10

The ultra-light Marker Alpinist pin binding (270 g without brake) offers everything experienced touring skiers need. Its construction allows active length compensation without affecting the ski’s flex. A very stiff, ISI front makes the binding easier to step into, as a wide footprint with integrated stop automatically positions and aligns your boot. Kinematically optimized pin levers then allow the pins to snap shut with just a gentle push. The heel features 0°, 5° and 9° climbing aids and can be switched quickly and easily from ascent to descent mode. A 38 mm wide hole pattern transfers power brilliantly to the edges, which means control and great steering.

The set includes a set of safety straps for touring skis.
