The Elan Ripstick Tour 88 is Elan's revolutionary novelty for 2022, connecting both Elan lines for off-piste skiing - lightweight Ibex and legendary Ripstick. The Ripstick Tour thus combines the best characteristics of both mentioned skis, and at the same time boasts an incredibly low weight, as at 163cm and a width of 88mm it weighs only a modest 1275 grams.
A lightweight and reliable touring ski will satisfy even the most demanding touring skiers. The ski will impress you with its extremely low weight when ascending, and with its stability, maneuerebility and reliable grip when descending. Despite the low weight, which is definitely an advantage when ascending, the ski performs excellently even on the most demanding and technical descents. This versatile ski has an asymmetrical Amphibio profile, which combines rocker and camber profile in one ski - camber on the inner edge of the ski provides optimal grip, precision and stability, while the rocker profile on the outer edge provides easier turning and more pleasure in the fresh powder. The wooden core Tubelite Woodcore is reinforced with hollow carbon rods, giving the ski strength, responsiveness and the best ratio between weight and riding characteristics. In order to achieve an even higher level of performance, Elan covered the entire surface of the ski with Carbon Reinforcement and designed a unique shape with a slightly raised central part that prevents snow from sticking to the top of the ski.

The secret lies in the left and right ski, featuring a cambered inside edge assuring edge grip, precision and stability with the rockered outside edge for easier turning and more joy in the deep powder.
- TubeLite Wood Core - to create it, two super lightweight Carbon tubes are inserted into a lightweight laminated wood core.
