Product description
This is the ladies only! The Arbor Veda Snowboard was designed in collaboration with Marie-France Roy. Committed to further exploration, Marie's intensifying love for backcountry snowboarding gave way to a necessary evolution of her unique, high-performance freeride Veda.
Proven ability on the steepest pitches of the mountain, tallest climbs, and heaviest handrails, Marie-France Roy continues to reach new heights as she gets closer to her inevitable legend status. Her riding is a constant evolution that pushes the boundaries of the industry and the product she designs. The one board for all; Marie wields her signature Veda for the 2023/24 season on Arbor's System Camber platform with 1.5-degree uprise fenders that provide the float, turn initiation, and edge hold she desires for an advanced freeride feel. Built sustainably on the Carbonized Bamboo Powerply Topsheet and made complete featuring art by Carlos Mack. Now available in larger sizes!
Features:
- Highland II Core - The highly versatile Highland Core, constructed with a 1:2 blend of poplar and paulownia, with additional insert and centerline components for a premium factory splitboard. Light-weight performance ideal for backcountry and pow.
- Carbonized Bamboo Powerply - The Power Ply topsheet works like an added layer of fiberglass. During construction, the natural wood fibers are turned into a composite layer inside the board.
- Grip Tech - Tri-radial sidecut design with two additional contact points underfoot for more ergonomic way to grip the snow when additional control is needed. Powerful edge control ensured!
- System Camber - If you want a highly responsive ride, crisp on-edge performance, and more pop for carving and ollies - all with smoother camber performance - then System Camber shapes are for you. The camber progressively reduces toward the tip and tail, making the leading edge less aggressive for cleaner on-snow performance.
- Parabolic camber for a more poppy ride with crisp, fully engaaged performance. It progressively reduces the amount of camber towards the tip and tail of a splitboard.
- FSC® Certified Highland Split Core – Arbor's highly versatile FSC Certified Highland Core, with additional insert and centerline components for a premium factory splitboard.
- Mixed Glassing - A triax over biax lay-up that’s best for versatility: pow, backcountry, groomers, jumps, & more
- Bio Resin instead of petroleum based resin to reduce carbon footprint of the material up to 40%
- Recycled Steel Edges – Our highly durable, recycled steel edges embody two of our Arbor’s key values: Quality and Sustainability.
- Sintered Base baseplate - A mid-density material that demonstrates increased speed and durability while maintaining the ease of repair
- Factory Tuned – Arbor detunes the tip and tail contact points on all of their snowboards for a catch-free ride before they leave the factory.
- Flex Rating: 7/10
