Specialized Kenevo SL 2 is a bike for riders who want to ride more descents, more lines and more vertical without the motor “riding instead of you.” It is built around the proven Enduro frame, already known for its stability and aggressiveness, and upgraded with the new SL 1.2 drive system, currently the most efficient e-MTB motor in the world in terms of weight, power and range. The new SL 1.2 now delivers 33% more power (320 W) and 43% more torque (50 Nm) than the previous generation, while still preserving what set the Kenevo apart from “real” e-bikes: a natural ride feel. When you pedal, it feels like you simply have the legs of the day, not a motor beneath you.
It also stays ahead of the rest when it comes to sound. The SL 1.2 is the quietest e-drive on the market, so you hear the tires, suspension and wind – not the motor. And the number that surprises most riders? The Kenevo SL 2 in size S4 weighs around 20 kg. That puts it close to the weight of a traditional enduro bike, but with added assistance that can double the number of descents in a single day. The suspension with 170 mm of travel front and rear is designed to soak up small vibrations, swallow big hits and still maintain efficient power transfer while pedaling. The geometry is fully adjustable – six different settings let you change the head angle (62.5°–64.5°) and bottom bracket height by 7 mm. That means you can adapt the bike to the trail, your riding style or simply your mood. If you prefer steep rock-garden lines, you can drop it lower and slacken the front end. If you want a more playful feel on flowing trails, raise it up and switch the geometry into “play mode”. The electronics are managed by the MasterMind TCU, probably the most advanced interface in the e-MTB world. On the handlebar, you get MicroTune, which lets you fine-tune assistance in 10% increments. It shows the exact battery percentage, not just bars, and connects the bike to the Specialized app, where you can customize motor characteristics, track rides or activate the anti-theft lock. The battery is 320 Wh, but you can expand it with a Range Extender (+160 Wh) that fits neatly into the bottle cage. Sizes also follow a different logic than traditional MTB rules. Instead of choosing by height, there’s S-Sizing, where you choose feel, not numbers: smaller sizes are more playful, larger ones offer more stability at speed and more room on the bike. And because all sizes have nearly the same standover height and seat tube length, you don’t have to choose between the “right” frame and the “right” feel – you can have both.
For comfortable, reliable and confident riding, the bike is equipped with a RockShox ZEB Select+ fork and a SRAM Vivid Select Plus rear shock. The SRAM GX Eagle AXS drivetrain ensures precise and smooth shifting, while SRAM Maven Bronze brakes provide reliable stopping power. The bike is completed with Specialized Roval Traverse wheels and Butcher tires.
The Kenevo SL 2 doesn’t give you the ride – it simply expands what you’re already capable of.
