Pieps Avalanche transreceiver MINI IPS
Product description
PIEPS MINI IPS is an extremely compact and lightweight avalanche transceiver designed for mountain safety. Despite its small size, it offers a 50-meter search strip width for fast and efficient searching. The Search Assist Plus system uses clear pictograms to guide the user through the entire search process and helps maintain correct direction and speed. The Interference Protection System (IPS) ensures reliable performance even in demanding conditions by reducing interference and providing a stable signal in transmit mode. During searching, the device automatically adjusts the search strip width (50, 35, or 20 m) for greater precision in areas with signal disturbances. The MINI IPS is easy to carry thanks to its small, lightweight, and robust design, making it suitable for any designated transceiver pocket. It also includes additional safety features such as a protected switch, reliable marking function, and Auto Search-to-Send, which automatically switches back to transmit mode if the user becomes inactive during a search. For group preparation, the MINI IPS offers an adjustable Group Check (1 m or 3 m) and training modes to improve user proficiency. Through the PIEPS App, you can easily install updates, adjust settings, and run a full device check. The PIEPS MINI IPS is an excellent choice for both beginners seeking simple and intuitive features and experienced backcountry users who need a reliable, advanced, and ultra-compact safety device.
