POC VPD Air Vest is one of the lightest, most breathable and most flexible back protectors for skiing, snowboarding and cycling. It is designed to move in complete sync with your body. Created for those who want maximum freedom of movement and almost invisible protection without compromising on safety. Thin, soft and highly flexible materials make the protection almost unnoticeable while wearing it, and the VPD material becomes even more adaptable with body heat and molds precisely to the shape of your back.

The VPD Air Vest is built for full-day activities in all conditions, combining an extremely lightweight construction with the protection standard EN1621-2 Level 1. The hexagonal structure of the back plate provides the optimal blend of strength, flexibility and ventilation, allowing heat and moisture to escape quickly so you stay dry and mobile. Even in colder temperatures, the back protector remains soft, meaning it will not harden or restrict movement.

The vest is tight-fitting and precisely tailored for a secure fit, while maintaining a minimalistic profile that layers easily under any clothing. The entire surface is perforated, which means it breathes exceptionally well, wicks moisture efficiently and dries very quickly. The mesh fabric is lightweight, 4-way stretch and made from recycled polyamide with elastane, ensuring excellent moisture transport, breathability and a modern sustainable design.

The protective plate naturally flexes with the body and never restricts movement. Its construction allows maximum airflow, while the material provides impact absorption and energy damping, which is a recognizable hallmark of POC. The result is protection you can hardly feel, but that is there when you need it most.
