With ease of use and excellent performance on descents, the Dynafit Ridge binding is the ideal companion for ambitious ski tourers who understand that speed is essential both on the ascent and the descent. The key advantage of the Ridge binding is its patented Easy-Turn-Tech system, which allows easy and fast switching between climbing and descending modes. Thanks to the smart Step In construction with side pins, entering the binding is quick and simple, saving you time and energy on the mountain. For added comfort, the Ice Breaker Pins system prevents snow and ice from building up between the boot and the binding. Additionally, snow and ice are automatically cleared when the boot enters the binding, ensuring uninterrupted and safe use. On the descent, the Ridge impresses with outstanding performance and power transfer to the ski. Safety is always a priority – lateral and vertical release values are adjustable between DIN 4 and 12, allowing you to tailor the settings based on the conditions. The 7 mm forward pressure ensures consistent and precise release values, even under high ski flex. Ease of use is one of the main benefits of this binding. The patented brake automatically engages and disengages depending on whether you're in climbing or descending mode, with no unnecessary complications. Front eccentric mechanisms and two adjustable climbing heights make the binding comfortable to use with just a few simple moves of your ski pole. The additional climbing height adjusts automatically, enhancing comfort on the ascent. For more challenging terrain, the Ridge supports the use of crampons, with the Quick-in Achse system, allowing quick and easy installation from the side or top, which is especially convenient on steep and icy terrain.
