Scarpa Gea is a classic women's specific AT boot that redefined backcountry performance. Gea is lightweight, warm, and versatile. The Gea utilizes Pebax Rnew: a sustainable, plant-based material that is planet-friendly - in both the Lambda Frame shell and Thor cuff while still providing high torsional rigidity, air ventilation, and 60-degree range of motion. The HRS strap keeps your heel planted where it should be to increase performance and comfort on the way up and down while the lower Wave Closure system provides the same security as a 2-buckle system at a fraction of the weight. The glove-friendly Finger Strap features RECCO® for increased avalanche searchability. The thermo-formable inner boot offers the best foot customization allowing great comfort and performance in any ski trip.

• Speed Lock XT - The ski/walk mechanism is easy to unlock and lock, thanks to the spring that improves the functionality of the lever. The system is enhanced by the Friction Free technology, in fact, there isn’t any connecting rod between the shell and cuff, which allows a “friction-free” movement during the walking phase

• HRS Strap - The particular design “EVO V-FRAME” of the cuff stiffens the rear part, by increasing the transmission of force in the movement of forwarding flexion of the leg
• Quick Step-In - Allows the positioning and attachment of the boot easily and securely. The lateral grooves allow for smooth and quick insertion

Thanks to double pull tabs, sliding lycra and 3D mesh lining, tongue front reinforcement, cuff reinforcement, rear flex point, anatomical heel padding, bottom sole, and flat external stitching you will be able to modify the liner to your needs
