The SRAM RED E1 AXS chain is SRAM’s lightest and most durable chain to date – now 13 g lighter than its predecessor. It features the unique Flattop™ link shape, allowing the chain to be narrower and lighter while increasing strength and providing more clearance between the outer plates and the cogs on both sides. The HollowPin construction ensures greater strength than solid pins while reducing weight. Cutouts in the outer and inner plates make the chain even lighter than the previous version. The result? A chain that is lighter, faster, stronger, and more durable than any other. Suitable for 12-speed and 13-speed SRAM drivetrains – and, of course, for e-bikes.
