The large button makes it easy to toggle between clock, ride time, trip distance, and total distance. Even today, many recreational cyclists prefer the classic variant of data transmission with a cable connection to the sensor. The installation is more complex, but the battery consumption is very low. Thus one drives a maintenance-free cycle computer over years. Due to the direct cable connection to the transmitter, a disturbance of the data transmission by external influences is practically excluded.
