Specialized Torch 2.0 Road Shoes were designed with comfort and efficiency in mind, made from a 100-percent mesh and TPU construction that allows for more toe movement and thus a less constrictive feel. High comfort and a perfect fit of the shoes were ensured by Specialized's designers using Body Geometry technology and the innovative use of soft materials with 100% mesh and TPU construction, which is quite atypical for road cycling shoes. Such construction feels like wearing just a sock, offering more room and less pressure. The upper is combined with a carbon sole of medium stiffness and a rubber profile on the heel and toes, thereby providing a perfect level of grip for walking. A single Boa® IP1 twist dial is added for closure, which can be replaced without tools and also allows for easy adjustment while riding.
