Tero X is versatile - Ride beyond the horizon with everything you need. The Tero 4.0 X is equipped with 500 lumens of headlight power, and red rear light illumination, and an integrated rear rack that safely carries up to 20kg of adventure gear. Tero X is compatible with the Front Rack and Adventure Plate for 10kg of additional on-bike storage. Sounds like any ride is a bright idea.
What about the components?
Tero X 4.0 brings 130/120mm of full suspension. A lock-out equipped RockShox Recon Silver RL fork (130mm travel) and a RockShox Deluxe Select R shock (120mm travel) provide confidence, comfort, and control. Your ride is always super smooth and safe thanks to the reliable SRAM SX drivetrain and Sram G2 REE-MTB specific brakes. For optimal ride control, the Tero X features a front and rear wheel combination of 29”/27.5”, also known as a mullet setup, in all sizes except the S. The S features 27.5”/27.5” front and rear wheel combinations. World-renowned Ground Control Grid T7 tires are there for unsurpassed traction, while the TranzX dropper seat post helps you stay in control during the rocky parts and making it easier to get your foot down when coming to a stop.
And extra acessories?
The bike comes equipped with the integrated Lezyne Classic front light with 500 lumens and Lezyne Fender rear light. The Turbo System Lock via Mission Control app disables your bike’s motor and activates the motion sensor alarm. Once locked, the motor cannot be enabled again except by the owner. Simple bell, Drytech stainless steel fenders, Pannier-rack, Cummuter pedals and kickstand are also added. All you need in one pack!

The bike is not worth its money. If you buy it, make sure it's on max discounts to even bother with it. I know that other full suspension e-bikes are even pricier, but this one is just disappointing in terms of e-motor power output and some of the details, like the front light and out-of-the-factory suspension setup. And the seller team also don't help to make a better decision when deciding to buy it, or even fixing the front light in a way that it doesn't peel off the wires of the brakes and shifter, etc.... They even gave me the new bike full of dust and seeming like it was a used bike... Didn't expect such a service, really.
So, to sum up about this TeroX4:
- far too little power for most of this bike's use scenarios (really, this is just not ok for a bike of this weight and purpose),
- if you are about 83kg+ in weight, the suspension needs to be adjusted in the store, otherwise you will bottom out and hit the end of the travel of the rear shock at every medium hole
- the front light mounting is a nice Specialized-specific touch, but the light is in the way of the wires - a LOT, and it peels off the cables due to its rough edges
- AND if you try to move the light be very careful because the Specialized mount is cheap plastic and it simply brakes if you move that thing too much (so then your light falls off and you have to order a new mount, which will also be of cheap plastic, meaning, it's better to buy a Lezyne mount for this light and mount it with that one on a better location.... )
