New Scott Scale RC was created with one single goal – to build the lightest, stiffest and most efficient hardtail XC bike on the market. Every detail of the frame was designed following the principle “Form follows Function”, where shape serves purpose. The result is a sharp, aggressive design and a technologically advanced bike.
Monocoque construction ensures that most of the frame is made in one piece, which means fewer joints, less unnecessary weight and greater stiffness. The frame is composed of only three parts that work together as one system, guaranteeing explosive acceleration with every pedal stroke. Metal inserts were replaced with lighter polymers, seamlessly integrated into the frame for a clean look and easy replacement if damaged. For practicality, there is a service door in the downtube, giving easy access to the frame’s interior and cable routing without removing the bottom bracket. Engineers also focused on details: hollow dropout construction saves precious grams while keeping the stiffness of the rear triangle. The result is a bike that remains featherlight yet precise and explosive even in the toughest XC conditions. A special innovation is the possibility to adjust the head angle by ±0.6°. In just a few minutes you can switch to a slacker or steeper geometry depending on terrain, personal style or race conditions. This gives you practically two bikes in one, without unnecessary hassle with cables or brakes.
All these advanced solutions are combined in a frame that is not just a piece of carbon, but a true statement of power and speed. The new Scale RC unites cutting-edge technology, impressively low weight and a bold look that clearly shows it is a bike built for victories and breaking personal records.
