Product description
The Rockhopper Expert is a bike for everyone who wants to enjoy riding trails. For over 30 years, Specialized has proven with the Rockhopper that performance and an affordable price can go hand in hand, and this model is one of the most refined versions so far. The frame is made from lightweight and durable aluminum, with geometry that gives you stability on descents and efficiency on climbs. It features internal cable routing and is compatible with a dropper seatpost, which is rare in this price range. Suspension is handled by a RockShox Judy SoloAir fork that smooths out roots and rocks without the bike sinking into the terrain. For reliable stopping power, it uses Shimano hydraulic brakes that stay predictable in the wet or on steep descents. The drivetrain is a 1x12 SRAM NX setup, meaning no front derailleur, fewer complications, and plenty of range for both climbs and descents. The bike is also ready for tubeless setup, which means fewer punctures, lower tire pressure, and better grip on the trail.
