The featherweight speed hiking backpack is an all-rounder that provides lots of freedom of movement on day hikes and alpine tours. Its vest-style perforated shoulder straps, supple hip fins, 2-way adjustable sternum strap and Deuter LiteAir back system combine to create good ventilation and a snug, compact fit. Handy pockets on the shoulder straps and hip fins, plus quick-release pole attachments, provide fast on-the-move access without having to take off the pack.

Its lightweight construction, lightweight materials, LiteAir back system and pared down features set combine to make the new Speed Lite Pro even lighter than its predecessors. Which means you can put more energy into the trail and less into carrying the load.

Wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps with full ventilation, supple hip fins, and a precision-adjustable, lightly elasticated sternum strap create a snug fit with zero load wobble and distribute the weight evenly between the hips and shoulders. This minimizes strain on the shoulders and therefore also on the back for an ergonomic back comfort.

Pockets on the shoulder straps and hip fins have space for a bottle, energy bars, a cell phone or GPS device. Quick-release bungee draw cords on the shoulder straps provide fast on-the-move access to poles without having to take the pack off. So you don’t have to break stride.
