The backcountry helmet POC Obex BC MIPS is the perfect support for all your adventourus days on the mountain. Developed with POC’s whole helmet approach, using advanced design and materials optimized for weight and crash protection, the Obex SPIN features an EPS liner, PC Shell and ABS top shell. Added aramid panels improve the structural strength of the helmet and enhance penetration protection.

Featuring an NFC Medical ID chip, rescuers can get the information they need at the scene of an injury in an instant, thereby assisting them in making the best judgements for treatment in the vital “Golden Hour”, the time immediately after an accident.

The inclusion of the NFC chip comes as part of POC’s whole-helmet approach to design, comfort, fit and performance, which includes the MIPS impact protection (Multi-directional Impact Protection) that reduces the rotational forces to the brain in case of some bad crash scenarios. . Other features of this whole-helmet approach include the use of RECCO rescue reflectors to aid rescuers in their search for lost skiers.

Precise and fully adjustable ventilation can be adjusted to meet individual needs and weather conditions. Sliding vent covers allow the user to open or close helmet ventilation based on their own comfort whilst integrated vents at the front of the helmet allow air to flow through goggles, preventing fogging and keeping clear vision. An interior size-adjustment system allows a user to find an ideal fit without needing to change pads and the design has been optimized for a seamless fit and compatibility with POC goggles.

    Šele 1x preizkušena, a super. Ne strinjam pa se, da je to ženska čelada, čeprav je podpisana norveška freeride smučarka, povsod drugje jo uvrščajo med unisex. Zraven uporabljam očala Alpina Optic in se povsem prilegajo.
