Black Diamond Expedition 3P Whippet is a trekking pole with an integrated ice axe, designed to fold compactly and adjust precisely in length. Its smart features are exactly what count when navigating demanding winter terrain. The three-section aluminium construction combined with the Dual FlickLock® adjustment system lets you fine-tune the pole to any situation. The newly redesigned extended EVA foam grip offers comfortable and versatile hand positions on varying slopes, while the flat top of the handle allows you to easily remove ice and snow from your skis or snowboard. The pole also includes a rubber “hook” for quick binding adjustments, along with powder baskets. Expedition 3P is a robust and reliable pole, ready for any mountain adventure. The included whippet, which attaches to the pole via the ClickLock Dial system, mounts quickly and securely, is ideal for frozen surfaces and steep terrain where extra security matters.
